Take the Challenge SPRING FLING 2010

The other night I couldnt sleep...I was thinking about all of the stuff in my house.  So, I decided to get rid of some things, not just "some" things, 100 things.  In the morning I called my sister and told her about my plan...so we decided to make it a challenge for anyone who wants to participate.
Before Spring Cleaning, this year, comes SPRING FLINGING!!

The challenge:

FLING 100 ITEMS BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING, MARCH 21ST

Definition of "FLING":

ebay, re-gift, donate, craigslist, give away, freecycle, recycle, trash...just about anything you can think of, but on March 21st, 2010 100 items must be GONE.

If you're up for the challenge

1.Leave a comment on this post, and let us know you are participating

2. Create a list on your sidebar and start tracking as you fling

3.Feel free to post a button as well to let your readers know what you're up to!!

Enjoy, and happy flinging!

I love this idea! I too have been thinking about all the stuff I have lying around that I don't use anymore. I've been thinking about having a free garage sale for my ward & friends where I set aside a day & time where people can come and just take whatever they want!

I am in also. Hooray, a reason to toss stuff out! Getting on this first thing tomorrow! Also going to add, not bring anything permanent in until then also! (My hubby is so going to love you.)

And Kerstin - What a great idea!

Oh I am sooooo in! I was just saying to my husband last night that we have way too much junk in our house! It's a good size house, but all the "stuff" makes it feel smaller! This is going to feel liberating! thanks for the challenge!

I also found a link to this from another blog-- Playful Professional's, if you know her.

Anywho, I think this is great, and I'm gonna try it!

At first I was afraid to sign up, because what if I don't get to 100!! haha..then I realized that doesn't matter, at least I'll be getting rid of some stuff!

This sounds like an awesome idea! I saw the challenge on another random blog and totally want to jump in! Hope you don't mind a stranger! :) I may try to do double your challenge just to really make it good! Ha ha! I've been wanting to 'fling' things so much and now I have a specific 'goal'! This is great!

I'm still flinging despite it being past the 'date'... I have a bigger goal in mind and have been getting rid of some BIG things. Ha ha! So, I think my deadline will be before my little baby comes... or whenever I reach 200 things. (It's a lot, but I'm going to do it!)
